1. How to add noise to a photo in PhotoShop

This tutorial will show you how to add noise to your photo in Photoshop

This tutorial assumes you already have your picture open in Photoshop

1) Go to Filter...

2) ...Noise...

3) ...and click Add Noise

4) Adjust the slider to set the amount of noise you want in your image

Now, we'll set the distribution. Gaussian gives more of a speckled effect while Uniform is more subtle

For this tutorial, we'll use Uniform

When Monochromatic is checked, the filter will apply the noise without changing the colors in the image

5) We will deselect monochromatic for this tutorial

6) Click OK when you are done

The noise filter has been applied to our photo
